is there a way that i can asign a hotkey to my screensaver without downloading any software.
i am using xp home edition 2002 s2.
Maybe this could help you:
Open Search (click on Start/ Search):
In the search option (the little dog pane) click the "All files and folders" link to set a search parameter.
Next, in the first box ("All or part of the file name") type the following: *.scr and click the Search buttonscreensaver xp software downloads:
From the search results, Right click the screensaver you want to create a hotkey shortcut for and select "Create shortcut" from the context menu. Windows will prompt you to create the shortcut in your Desktop. Click "Yes" and the new shortcut will be sent to your desktop.
Next: Right click the new shortcut that was created on the Desktop and select Properties. A new window will pop up (Shortcut Properscreensaver xp software downloadsties)
Under Shortcut tab, look at "Shortcut key" option (Default value is NONE) so click on that box and press the key in your keyboard you want to use as the new hotkey to launch your screensaver, for example F11 or F12.
Click Apply and your screensaver will launch whenever you press the assigned key (F11 or F12 in this example)
Greetings
Yoni
