I'm looking for some free software for capturing video and audio from my camera using a USB cable. NOT a firewire.
I tried out Debut Video Capture Software but the resolution was too low.
I'm looking for software that is
1. Free
2. Good resousb camera capture softwarelution
3. Not insanely hard to use
4. Safe
It doesn't have to have video editing software included in it, as i'm using some software I bought for that part.
Capturing video from WHICH camcorder?
Does it use MiniDV tape?
If your camcorder isusb camera capture software miniDV tape based, then Firewire is the only way you'll get high quality DV format video into your computer. USB can't handle the streaming requirements - that is why you get the low quality video you are getting.
